The Gene Editing Core Facility empowers researchers to bring genome editing technology into their research programs. The core provides CRISPR/Cas9 mediated genome editing on a variety of cell types, including iPSCs and other proliferating cell types. The Gene Editing core works closely with researchers to design tailored experiments to find the most effective way to achieve their goals, and works closely with the Transgenic Mouse Facility to provide a complete workflow from construct to transgenic model. Services include cell genotyping, knock out and knock in constructs, heteroduplex assays, and vector construction. The expert staff will assist in designing a protocol, validating, and selecting the appropriate transgenic clones.
