The Purdue Center for Professional Selling is the experiential learning hub for the Selling & Sales Management major at Purdue University. All of the activities of the Center are intended to provide development opportunities for students seeking a Selling & Sales Management degree at Purdue although students from any part of campus are welcome to take part in the activities offered by the Center. The Purdue Center for Professional Selling offers companies an opportunity to work with students in making outbound marketing calls or emails. The typical partner company is a small start-up looking to develop, hone or test their maketing program or identify or hone their marketing niche. Students work up to 12 hours/week using tools and scripts developed with the company to reach out to potential clients and identify "warm leads" that are then turned back over to the company for follow-up. Almost any activity that can be completed using a computer or phone is something the students can work on for a company or organization.
