Overview of Services
The staff of the Pre-Clinical Research Laboratory can assist you with all stages of your pre-clinical animal studies:
- Experimental design
- Grant application
- Budgeting
- IACUC application
- Study execution (technical and surgical support, facilities, equipment).
We have experience with animal models in small to large animal species ranging from mice through pigs and sheep. If needed, we can help you identify possible collaborators from the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Getting Started
To register for an account:
- In the upper-right-hand corner of the screen, click 'Register' and 'Register using Purdue credentials’.
- You will be directed to an authentication page where you will need to enter your Career Account credentials.
- Once you have entered your credentials, click the ‘Login’ button
- You will be directed to an iLab Registration page where you will need to select your PI/Lab, and verify your contact information.
- Once your registration has been submitted, your PI will receive a notification that you have requested membership to their lab in iLab. They will need to approve your membership and assign any Account String for your use.
If already registered:
- Click 'Sign In' in the upper right hand corner and select Purdue under ‘Sign in using Purdue credentials’. (IMPORTANT: On initial login, set your account time zone, click 'update', then log out once to set the change.)
- Once on the core's page, click the 'about our core' tab to learn more about the core.
- Equipment can be scheduled under the 'Schedule Equipment' tab. First-time users do require previous training.
- Services can be ordered by creating a 'Service Project' under the 'Request Services' tab
