The Precision Machine Shop in the Chemistry Department at Purdue provides custom machining, mechanical fabrication, and prototype work in support of research and teaching programs. Looking for that hard to find part? Or, perhaps you need a one-of-a-kind item machined from a specialty material? Precision Machining in Chemistry is a one-stop shop for all your precision machining needs.
Inquiries from external academic units, business, and government are welcomed. All work will require an on-line request to be submitted.
The shop will be open for walk in consultation and drop-off/pick-up 1:30 - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
In cases of emergency repair, contact Randy Replogle via email at replogle@purdue.edu or by phone at 494-5305 to discuss alternate arrangements for Machine Shop access.
As always, you may contact Randy via phone or email with questions. Requests are still being submitted via ilab.
Thank you for your understanding!
