Reservation Procedures

PURT Access Policies

  • Crossing Tarmac: You must wear a safety vest when crossing the Tarmac. Never walk outside of any buildings at the airport without someone who has signed a form with the airport.<strong>Booking Time</strong>: Use the booking link to reserve a time. You do not need to email PURT staff members directly. If you have questions regarding your reservation, use the&nbsp;email contact below.
  • No-Show Policy: If you cannot make your reserved time, please let us know as soon as possible via the email address below. There is no way to cancel your booking by yourself. We have a no-show policy that if you have not arrived within 30 min of your scheduled time, your reservations will be cancelled for the day.
  • Email contact: purt-staff@ecn.purdue.edu (do not email unless you have questions, or issues regarding your reservation)
  • Meeting Point for Entry: Meeting point for entry, outside gate2:  Google Map Pin
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available in Hangar 5, you must cross the tarmac and be escorted to gain entry to the door which has a numeric key pad.

Reserving Time in iLAB

  • You need to create an iLab user to book an appointment (see attached instructions): Create iLab User

    • You will need an associated account. 

  • See Step 3-Adding a new lab member

  • Click book and appointment

  • If you want to request a tour

    • Select: Request Training Tour -> Tour: Initiate Request

  • If this is your first time using the facility

    • Select: Request Training Tour: Facility Training Request: Initiate Request

    • After you are trained, you will be able to schedule your own time in the facility.
